Affected by the CODIV-2019 coronavirus, the US Treasury Department has announced to extend the tax filing and paying deadline to July 15, 2020. Tax Panda’s normal service reserves 30 days to process your tax return. Because there is less than 30 days left from the July 15, 2020, any customer who engaged tax panda late or is unable to submit all necessary tax documents on time (without an express service) may need to file an extension to extend your filing deadline to October 15, 2020. Tax Panda can file an extension (form 4868) for you free of charge. State tax return is based upon federal tax forms. Every state has different rules and requirement, we will perform similar procedure for your state tax return based on your personal situation. Filing an extension is a normal practice. It will not negatively affect your tax return or status. It will give you more time to gather the tax documents.
